Diana Kowalsky has joined Birch & Rye’s team in the role of Service Manager. For over a decade, Diana has been a superlative hospitality professional, working in administrative roles at a range of culinary establishments. Diana came to Birch & Rye by way of the family-run restaurant Batch & Brine, where she served as the Assistant Manager starting in 2018. Diana counts experience in managerial and marketing roles at California restaurants The Cooperage American Grill, The Forge Pizza, and The Fourth Bore Tap Room & Grill, as well as Mafiaosza’s in Tennessee. She received a degree in Business Administration from Diablo Valley College as well as industry-specific credentials including a Level One Certified Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers. Above all, Diana places emphasis on providing exceptional guest dining experiences, through support directly on the floor and behind the scenes.
